Kia Ora bloggers, this week was the start of the new term this is my mashup.
For literacy, we made a science experiment with aspirin we had a crushed pill and a normal pill and we had to make a hypothesis of which pill we thought would dissolve quicker I chose the crushed pill and I was right this is the slide we worked on.
For our inquiry, we got told to do a worksheet about space there were 9 challenges and we had to get three in a row like noughts and crosses here are the challenges in case you want to do one. Thanks for checking in and have a good day! :)

Research the conditions on Mars and create a list of 10 materials/tools that you will attempt to bring with you on a mission to Mars. Give each material/tool its own slide and explain why it needs to be brought to Mars.

Create an information poster that covers all the main points about the moon landing. You will need to cover information such as astronauts, dates, time, information about the journey, what they did when they landed, what they took back with them, equipment etc

Research and create a presentation on how Astronauts do simple things while in space e.g. wash their hair. You would need to cover at least 4 different things.

Create your own, share it and write about it. What is your rocket for?

Create a presentation that teaches others about at least 5 things.

Design and create a space/planet landscape. You could make this into a diorama. Or simply a landscape drawing and/or painting.

A world of Data. Satellites in real-time. Create a presentation (whatever you like) that explains satellites and tell us about one in particular (missions)- inc. what data it is collecting, how do we use this data on earth?

What is velcro used for in space?
Research the history of Velcro and create a presentation or animation about its uses in space.
